Overview: Cheeks is a mixed media artist who has worked, starved, thrived, and played in Hollywood for the last five years. After studying film production with a focus on editing, he moved into song writing and music production. In 2008, Cheeks first EP, THE BOY FROM VENUS was released to positive reviews; he was quickly dubbed the boy Madonna by L.A. radio personality Robin McGee. Cheeks returned to the charts on September 1, 2009, with his sophomore album, GLAMBITION; a thumping, electronic tour de force that not only showcases his growth as an artist, but his ability to capture big ideas in sleek little packages. GLAMBITION blithely tackles esoteric concepts such as disposable emotions, hidden sexual desires, and the deterioration of culture. An independent musician, Cheeks' sound has been compared to artists such as Lady Gaga, Inner Party System, and Britney Spears. His original music has been featured in the award winning short film, Side Effect.
